They’re not my favorite though. I like all tiny combs as long as it’s not a tiny single comb. It just looks wonky and just not right. Joy looks like a whole different bird!

I guess it depends if it’s a nice comb, some of the hatchery combs do look a little weird but some look really good with small combs. I think a game hen with a large comb would look really strange.

Don’t get me wrong, Joy is still perfect and perfect as she has always been, but she’s always had a large bright red full comb, and her tiny spiky comb now doesn’t look like it belongs on her.

I agree. It looks good on some birds, but others it’s just not right.

So, I decided to go a week without collecting eggs, so I could see full nest boxes, and that was a bad idea because I found green egg outside the coop
