It's noon here.
I got 5 eggs yesterday! It was pretty exciting, lol. The most I've gotten all winter is 4 a few times.

my girls were late bloomers so it was frustrating having 20 8-9 month hens not laying

but the first ones started laying late November which was weird but awesome

this week I've gotten 7-8 eggs a day

I have a mixed flock, and my birds all free range in the groups they were raised in.

the two older RSLs stick together, and the younger OE and WL stay together

4th year.

If I can, I'll get some good pictures of the Sumatra pullet.

then I guess these birds were just weird. SO said he raised a bunch together and they did split themselves into groups based on breed as they grew up

im just guessing theyre weird too

15 eggs today.

Was going to get pictures of my Sumatra pullet, but time went by really quickly, so I'm going to have to get the pictures tomorrow.

The feed store finally had my birds favorite pellet food back in stock. Nutrena All Flock Pellets. 20% protein.

They were stuck eating Dumor All Flock Pellets for 3 months. Protein is only 17%, so they ate more, & pooped more due to the lower protein content.

The Outhouse. Apparently someone took the door off since I was last there...

Burned ruins. Chimney, stove, refrigerator(?), and table/chairs.

Unburned items. Some of the dish shards were melted together. I found pieces of a serving dish, a whole plate, glasses, 75 watt light bulbs, milk jugs, can that says ‘no grease’, a teapot, a coffee/tea cup, a saucer, etc.
