How many birds does everyone have currently? I have 66 chickens and 2 parakeets.

The PM that became necessary - By all costs, lest I perish into utter horror of not including you in a PM. Greetings, human!

CHLCKEN:
Wonderful weather we're having, isn't it.

STARBURST:
It is amazing weather over here - Dark clouds with the usual thundering rain. *Sips from a cup of tea*

CHLCKEN:
The sudden below freezing temps with a taunting little flurry.

STARBURST:
Such comforting and beautiful weather, it is.

(I feel like we're writing a children's book or poem or something! )

CHLCKEN:
the bitter white and brumal sweep, behind my frosted window, greets my with a gentle crunch.

STARBURST:
The pounding rain sweeps away grime from summer's end. The chicken's squawk and squabble, their feathers, wet and thin.

CHLCKEN:
lashes of ice on the fence, melt, with the path in the snow from hens

STARBURST:
Thunder clash, evergreens crash, while wind whistles high and low. Suddenly, the lights go out - everyone shouts, oh no!

CHLCKEN:
Should darkness have a chilling voice, what voice has the snow? A lullaby of crystal sweep, onto I fall and with I sleep.

STARBURST:
The darkness shrouds all forms on this stormy night. But ah, then stars pierce the gloom, and I can see the light!

CHLCKEN:
Winking with it’s lucent face, I grasp the moon, and stars embrace.

That was beautiful *sniffs, then wipes imaginary tear from eye*

@ButtonHoarder I recommend you check out "Birdtricks" youtube channel. They are professional bird trainers.

Oh thanks! I think I may have watched 1 of their vids on taming a skittish budgie, but I'll watch more!

Awww, she reminds me of a young fawn lol. We only have beef cattle but I hope we can get a mini Jersey someday!

My budgie Joe does the cutest thing. Sometimes when I go over to his cage and tell him to show mama how cute he is he gets fluffy and starts preening Soo adorable!

I have 14 chickens, 13 button quail and a budgie.

How many eggs are you guys getting each day? I usually get 40 some.

Wow, that's a lot! I've been getting 3 on average, but our hens are kinda old.

4 chickens
36 imaginary chickens
10 imaginary quail
6 imaginary ducks
6 imaginary peacocks
3 imaginary geese

Ah yes, I forgot to add that I have 3 imaginary peafowl, 5 imaginary ducks, and 6 coturnix quail

2 peahens
2 peachicks (1M 1F)

* slips into your yard under cover of night, grabs 1 peacock and 1 peahen *
* looks around in hopes you have hidden ducks somewhere. sighs in disappointment and steals away in the dark *
