She’s been oh so kind lately.
My sick bird has been shut from the flock -only somewhat, but when it’s freezing, she’s wearing a VetWrap cast on her chest, and it’s freezing , it matters. Last night in the freezing temps I went out, wondering how Salt would do. I had last seen her alone, shivering in the dark, on her own roost. I came back out... You know who was smooshed up to her when everyone else refused to be? JB.

That cast/bra does the opposite of making her any warmer. It in fact lets out all the heat her feathers have trapped.
She’s very cold and shivery.

Lovely June Bug is the only bird that’s accepted Salt back, neon crop bra or not. Love that girl.
