that's why I asked if her dogs went anywhere. I would say if they bit someone and didnt have a rabies shot, it could be a big issue, but if they never leave the house then... it's kinda like a victimless crime? no ones ever gunna find out.
Hmm yeah that’s true I guess but I wouldn’t necessarily say victimless cause they could bite them and hospitalize them or even if not, if the dog contracts it, it would probably have to be put down if it’s not vaccinated. Either way, still probably not a good idea to post it on a public forum if it’s required there

I mean if it's a house dog not around any wild animals or other peoples dogs...
but anyway, the rabies police aren't reading chicken nonsense forums :lau

Hmm I guess that’s true but they didn’t say if it was inside or outside and I doubt they’re inside exclusively cause walks and potty hahah but I guess if they don’t leave the property probably not

I am now imagining a rabid squirrel running up to a dog on a leash with a human and tackling them

It probably would never happen but just still not really worth it to me, even if ya think it’ll never happen, given it’s such an extremely deadly, horrible disease and easily preventable, but of course everyone is different
