Farm chatter

I’ve got Marans, EEs, SS, Cochin Bantams, and hopefully OEGBs coming this spring. Are SS broody?
Cochins Bantams are EXTREMELY broody. Mine are only 2/3 bantam Cochins. They are less than a year old but in the past 3 months they have both gone broody twice.

That is so unfair. Tell them to look at it anyway.
I made my mom look at it and she said that she appreciated the amount of effort that I put in and would have to think about it and discuss it
I'm sorry ik how it feels you put DAYS of work into it and they just don't care

Today my mom told me about how my last dog (golden retriever) figured out that kids tend to have crumbs and stuff on their faces, so whenever he saw a kid he'd go lick their face with is GIANT tounge
Gotta say golden retrievers and bernese mountain dogs are pretty much the best
I've been trying to find a dog breed that is good with kids but would be protective of the owners, do you guys have any idea what breeds find in that category
