Although, Satan would not have been taking it away (Job's belongings) if God had not first asked him (Satan) if he had considered his servant Job.
So it's God's fault all this happened to Job?

God did grant Satan leave to afflict Job. But Job was faithful and the record shows that though Job was bowed down and distressed, he did not sin. He did not blame God. He did not understand why all this happened to him, and when his "friends" said he must have sinned in some way and brought it on himself, he denied their accusations. This whole event occurred to show us that God does not operate that way. That indeed, bad things happen even to good people. God is not vindictive. Bad things happen because we live in a world largely controlled by Satan. So the sun shines and the rain falls on good and wicked people alike. God is love, and He restored everything to Job double in the end.
