Everyone who has an outdoor cat go buy a tick collar for it right now. I’m not just saying it. Actually do it. Ticks carry so many diseases and you need to protect your cats from something like this.

I have lost so many animals in the past year, and every time I blame myself. It doesn't help. And it's not true. The thought that just circles around is " I should have just done this." Or "What if I'd done this?" No one could have controlled this.

When our animals die we look for something or someone to blame, and that someone is often ourselves. But don't blame yourself. No one could have controlled it.

Your mind may seem like a broken record replaying your last moments with her, over and over and over again. But things will get better. Given time. I promise. And Kate, we're all here. Each and every one of us.

I kept, and really still do, think it’s my fault. But I just keep telling myself “at least I had him”. No matter how short it seemed to you, you were her whole life. And you got to make amazing memories with her. My condolences, and big hugs.

I got donkeys! This is mine for my birthday, I named her Friday. She’s sooo friendly and I’ve been training her to ride! My littlest sister is so excited.

And this is her mom, Sunday! She’s a bit more hesitant around people, but loves treats.
