I found two baby birds today, killed by my grandmas "orange cat"

and at the lake, a dumb bird built a nest with no shade and all the babies baked to death

just the 4 we raised last year. jiggy we never saw again after we let them loose. buttercup has been the most friendly with me. rocky and frankie mostly hung out together though maybe as they got older that changed? I haven't seen frankie is a long time but one of the boys (or maybe both in turn) still comes up to my housemates window sometimes.
