I like all the colors. I prefer them to not have extra health issues. They already have one major issue that kills 40% of them. The Doberman suffers dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) more than ALL other breeds combined.

Oh my gosh, that's awful! Is it like cancers in that breeders can screen for it before breeding their dogs, or do they just develop it more easily?

That is a staggering rate. Out of the five I've lost, three died from DCM. Two had sudden death. One I didn't even know had it until she literally dropped dead at my feet. She's the little red one with cropped ears. Bridget.
