It’s all clean now!

I clean mine once a month. It had ants in it this time thanks to SOMEBODY breaking an egg behind the tray.

I clean mine weekly, but I only do a full cleanout twice a year. (The last one was in november when we got the coop and filled it with new bedding, but I'm going to do one every spring and every fall)

I used to clean mine weekly but I don’t have time. It’s cleaned every two weeks to a month depending on how bad it is.

I have, and I do. It's a constant battle. I can decrease their numbers dramatically, but I will never be rid of them. I had lice for awhile too, got rid of them no problem. But mites? It's been a one year battle and I'm still fighting. I've given up on ever getting rid of them, I just treat the coop and the birds when I notice the numbers start getting high again.

Just don't get a wood coop. Those buggers will never leave.

Permission to either A:
dunk entire coop in a vat of pure permethrin, leave it for a week

B:
burn whole thing and start over

I just feel so horrible because if I had taken literally 2 seconds to look, I would have seen teh problem way sooner, but nO, I let it get sO BAD

Anyone else wondering who had the Atheists Thread closed? If the religious people can have a thread of their own, us non religious, & Free Thinkers should have a thread of our own.
