I thought one hit California last year?A hurricane has not hit California in well over 100 years. I have not heard of any tsunamis hitting here, at least in my lifetime. The only real issues here are the fires, heat, and earthquakes here and there, but I don’t live along the fault line.
It has to do with the humidity and mixing of hot and cold winds, especially from the sea. You don’t see that stuff here since it’s hardly humid. Tornados are more likely to occur in the state, but there’s not a lot.Hurricanes I feel are more common with east coast down by North Carolina area
