A broody hens Characteristics:

Cranky

Won't move from nest

Staying in nest for days

Taking short breaks

Eating less

Drinking less

Sounds like a Ticking Time Bomb

Fluffs up

broody poops! because they only get off the nest once a day so they save it all up for one massive nasty.
