I'll be breeding Silkie to Malay for my second F1 cross, then cross to LF Silkie.

Silkie/Malay pullet/hen X LF Silkie Rooster.

The F2s from this cross will be bred to Floof, the F2 from my first Silkie/Brahma X LF Silkie crossing.

Are you worried that the malay genes will mess with the lower, rounder body type that silkies have?

Silkies are naturally sporty in body type. Plus, it also seems that the silkie ancestors were a type of Gamefowl.
