Farm insurance + log home help!

Are you a true farm or a homeowner with non domestic animals? There's a difference.

Well, I have 50 ducks and my home owners will only let me have a maximum of 5. So I have been looking at mini farm insurance. So far, no luck because of the log home. There is only one company here that will cover a log home on homeowners. They consider any damage to a log home a total loss because you can't just cut out the dry wall and replace it.

Horses to an extent and chickens are ok on home. Cattle not so much.

Not on my homeowners! If you are, you are lucky! Who is your underwriter?

The farm bureau here is membership required. Is that the case all around the US? Is it like a union?
