Sanna - show a really rare breed of rabbit. Then you will might be the only one in the classes and score some awesome trophies and ribbons....lol. Lots of mini lops I imagine....nothing cuter than a mini lop though and you will probably be showing a nasty ugly thing doing what I said...hehe. just jokin around!
There were no lops at all being showed around here. They are all Californian whites or Flemish Giants. :)
from today.....

I don't even know which breed is a rare one.

But the Mini Lops seem to be more common around here. And they're cute!! Yes, I did the "pick a breed by their looks" thing. lol It will come in handy with all these visitors here at the farm, especially the kids. Anything that's cute and fuzzy is a big hit. If we don't do well at shows, my future bunny can be the star of Ray of Light Farm instead!

Ugly or not. lol

Lots of nice pictures, but these were my favorite.

I think I better find a show and go watch and see how it's all done before I go all crazy.

And find out what breeds there are being shown.

I like Lionhead rabbits! They are adorable!

Plus they'd fit right in with your silkies!

Yeah, I have no idea....lol. I read the other day that a guy here in the states shows rabbits and there is usually over a 100 lops at each show he goes to??? ...that might of been just mini lops, I can't remember. I'm getting into raising lops and Californians. My boy and I are going to tackle the local 4-H level shows, then we might take over the North American circuit....haha. I'll have my first batch of mutts though here in 27 days or so....lol.

Oh and sorry for expressing my inner dumbness....
big_smile.png
. ....and I guess outer dumbness, because I have been known to dance the dougie while chorin....lol.

edited again - funny how things work out....I was a backwards hat, baggy pants wearin', ninja motorcycle ridin', hip-hop dance club goer right before turning to all this....lol.

You would so fit in here...

Not only do we dougie when we chore, but we also wear our forever lazy while chorin' too.

What kind of lops? Mini? Holland? French? English? American Fuzzy?

Daisy Mae is Holland Lop :)

I personally wouldn't show anything than the cutest of breeds....lol. ...even if I got 636th out of 636....lol. Man, the mini lops and like aoxa mentioned, the lionheads, WOW are they neat! I get to see feed store Lionhead bunnies sometimes and everyone in the store is carrying them around just going nuts over them...lol.

Thanks! Fun times out in the cow pasture....

forever lazy - the comfy layin' around the house outfits???....
lau.gif
. That's AWESOME!!!...lol. A couple years ago, when I was running bucking bulls, I wouldn't be caught dead outside in anything but cowboy type appearal!!! Nowadays,...lol.... I could easily be sportin' a forever lazy out there while chorin'....
big_smile.png
. flip-flops, barefoot, santa christmas pj's, st. patricks days clover leaf pj's, etc...it's all good!!! Most times I don't even look like I know what a cows is any more when I go places....
big_smile.png
. IMO, it can be expensive as heck looking like you might know something all the time...lol.

Lops are by far my favorite! I'll eventually have mini's and Hollands! I see a lot of lops I don't like though. I haven't yet in everyone's photos on here though. Daisy Mae is a great looking rabbit! I like her! I'm looking for a buck for my little lop female I have now...just to get things going with them....just pet type lops. Maybe a black and white buck. Here she is....

She's real easy going.

I just bred this bunny, not sure what she is, to Bunz.

Then I'll be breeding my two new Californian does in a couple months. They are still pretty young.

Yes the PJ's with butt flaps. I highly recommend them. They are great for night time chores when there is that chill in the air... ;)

Oh I never look good when I'm choring. I want a full one piece cover all winter thing for winter.. I get so cold, I need something warm!

Your bunnies are cute. Can't help you on breed for the second one though!

Thanks! Just getting the rabbit breeding thing going. Seems I always start at the farthest possible place from where I want to be or want to have, then enjoy the ride and learn a ton. That second bunny had an ear that hung down when I first got her. As time passed it started going up and up....lol. I'm just hoping for some spotted bunnies of some sort out of her. She too is real laid back and good to have around. Probably has a little of everything in her.

Speaking of clothing and chorin'....this outfit is for when I really want to feel sexy and really bring it doing chores!!! hahahehehahahehe.
