I so love this thread. I love how crisp you-all's photos are and the wonderful compositional sense you guys have and the gorgeous scenery from parts of the county so different from my own ...and the cows. I love pictures of cows. even better than pictures of chickens for some reason. cows have such a wonderful feeling of serene.

I just took my sony out and sat with the chickens....that pic was in there. There's probably quite a few captions that could go with it...

Well, I might. Nothing I have taken with my Canon would work as far as blowing up, so I am practicing with my sony. Not sure I will have anything good enough, but might try.

What resolution do I need? My sony seems to be taking a 6000 by 4000 pic....I don't know how to change that at the moment...lol. Is that big enough?

Is there a deadline for it?

I don't think they have announced the deadline yet.

Resolution requirements are mentioned on the opening of the contest. Without looking I don't know off the top of my head. You should!!! You can only enter 2 pictures though. If you enter more they just disqualify.

Thanks for the info! I'll check it out! ...and may have to enter 2. I cry easy and have low self-esteem, so this might not be a good thing for me to do....
