Farm Related Photography. Pictures are the best Advertisement!

You may get a good shot, but once you try to get close to the image, it won't be near the quality. But again, sometimes you will. You'll just get a lot more better shots with a higher end camera.

I've gotten REALLY nice shots from an iPhone. A lot of it is in the lighting

You give someone w/o good eye and composition a $1,000 camera and you are still getting crappy shots. You give someone who has an "eye" and can compose and understand light management a $100 camera and they can make magic.

You are right there Kass.

But anyone with an eye will much prefer the $1000 camera. I paid about that for the camera and lens and equipment.. Though I started with the lens that came with the kit.. I upgraded. I notice a huge difference in just the lenses!

It is a huge pet peeve of mine when people see awesome photographs and say "Oh what nice pictures you must have a good camera" No one says to a painter "Oh what a great painting you must have used great brushes and paint" or to a fashion designer "Oh awesome evening gown you must have a really good sewing machine" or to a surgeon "Great job Doc you must have an amazing scapel set"

You're right.

I edit all my photos as well, and have been taking photos, and edit for many years.. Since I was 13 years old. I have always preferred animals as my subjects. I started out with terrible instruments, and still took pictures I like. But I can see that if given the proper tools, those images would have come out better.

Just my opinion, and doesn't mean it's so.
