I was wondering if you were going to post any pics. Sayin some of your Californians could be in a New Zealand mag was funny...

. I've started buying rolls of wire and have started in making my own cages as well as little runs for on the yard. I bred my first Californian doe yesterday. Rabbit math...lol.

It's too late for you for my friend....you already got one a couple days ago didn't you???....lol. ...and I think I seen you mention you might try and get more from them...you're already in trouble! ....lol.

ETA : Maybe you might of been talking about getting more food from the previous owners now that I think about it, but anyway, you still might be in trouble getting that first one...lol.

Oh well, haha. And yes, just got my first, and am already enjoying the little guy, and keep finding myself on craigslist looking for more!

That was the last rabbit at the previous owner's place... but I did find someone who was selling lionheads for ten bucks!! Might have to look into that... Getting pics of my one ( for now ) rabbit.

We tried having rabbits years ago - they liked more than anything to run in the yard and were mighty hard to catch. These days I just like seeing them pass through the yard in the evening to nibble clover. And on my morning bike rides along the Catawba River I get to see a half dozen or so out in the wee hours as the sun rises and the mist on the river lifts, nibbling at blackberry vines and white clover, peaceful and enjoying the quiet along with the cardinals, the squirrels and the few folks out for some exercise before the workday begins.

. Pretty chickens with lots of feathers! It's going to be law that you can't buy bunnies after next month, so you better get 1 or 15....

. When we were talking about rabbits awhile back, I forgot to mention I like Netherland Dwarfs too....I am going to get a couple of those too here sometime....

Oh no! LOL I better ask one of our instructors, Sally, what happened to those baby bunnies she was talking about. lol She's also a vet-tech and fosters several animals. That's how I ended up with my kitten Lucy. Sally just happened to mention she was fostering a litter of kittens and they needed homes. I jumped out of the next room when I heard her and was like "I'll take one!!!"

Do you think rabbits are as addicting as chickens? If so, I don't need any!
