Silkies, I look at that pup and I just think of a RP character. Bwahahaa! Great pics, BTW. I'm loving them! Keep 'em-a coming! One of the pups from our friend's American Bulldog litter. Such GORGEOUS dogs.
One of our olllllld ewes. This one was our second ewe we purchased. She is incredible; she lambs twice a year (as Dorpers do naturally) and has a set pattern: triplets in the "off season", and a single in the lambing season. She's come a long way too. When we first got her, she was as wild as a hare (even busted down a fence once). Now, she'll follow you around like a bottle-baby.
It's gonna be hard one of these years to find that she has crossed over the rainbow bridge.
One of this year's ram lambs. Also from our oldest ewe. He's huge!
One of our yearling ewes that we milk. Sheep milk is incredible!
Ewe lamb (front), Ram lamb (back).
Our herd sire. This guy is massive.
Ewe lamb.
Ah, our horned billy goat. This guy is such a pain (sometimes I want to wring his neck), but he throws beautifuly colored babies.
A "mottled" Australorp pullet.
And a Silkie chick. Just for your enjoyment.![]()

Amazing how they can keep it so warm in such cold weather. Beautiful pics.Well, our broody hens are getting into it big time here... it is Central Pennsylvania.... worst winter in probably 30 years... and I now have 4 hens broody! 1 hatched today, on day 20 no less, and I have 3 setting who will be due early next month since I finally got them eggs...
Ya about have to start thinking of spring when you see a new hatch of chicks!
I get such a kick out of finding those... and do like you did... I always grab a comparison pic or two... though yours are much better quality! LOL
