Well, my first chicks for the year hatched. There's two WCB Polish chicks I hatched for the farm, and some Silkies I hatched for myself. Now...these Silkies were supposed to be blue, black or splash. I don't see any of those colors. Do you?? LOL I think my little porcelain cockerel, that was supposed to be too young for such activities, fertilized a few eggs.... And honestly. I'm questioning the genetics of my smaller blue hen, because these two chicks here came out of her eggs. I bought her a couple years back, she's an obvious blue, but seems that maybe she's carrying other genes as well..? There are more odd colors in the incubator still drying. I got ONE blue out of 6.

Thank you very much for your kind words. George, the peacock simply wandered in two years ago and decided to stay.

And nothing says 'Spring has Sprung!" than budding oaks!
