The show yes. Though to do the costume contest you have to have another bird not used in showmanship that is dressed up as well and I had nothing for my birds also now that my birds are almost 2 years old they're too big for the carriers I have. Ice got to ride shotgun in my car on the way here. I got 2nd in Showmanship Senior division and Reserve Champion Over All! I had lots of fun doing it. Unfortunately this was my last year in youth showmanship. I might try and see if I can be a judge for next years show. Some people thought I was trying to do pirate since I had my two arm braces on a white buttoned shirt.

Wisconsin is a little far and with shipping eggs chances are low. I don't know how the process for shipping live birds goes but I need to get some experience if I'm going to grow in my peafowl business. If you go on to the United Peafowl Association's website they give a list of breeders in the states listed. Unfortunately they don't even list Idaho.

Wow, gorgeous photo! It's amazing how good cell phones are now, some of them are as good or better than cameras! Including this picture. Assuming this is an iPhone? GREAT picture :D

Its only a cell phone photo but I think my girl is beautiful and wanted to share

It is a beautiful picture, and the cell phones can provide amazing picture quality these days as was said.
What I think makes or breaks a shot isn't just the camera.... how the shot is framed and the background can turn a snapshot moment into a frameable one. You did a good job on this picture to show the beauty of the bird with the contrasting green behind to help her stand out.
Enjoy the camera on the phone...I love mine, and thank goodness I don't have to buy film for it!!!

I agree with fisherlady!! It's also interesting too because if you look at digital cameras from like.. Early 2000s or even 2008, like cheap little Sony ones, that's technically a "camera" but I would almost guarantee the iPhone beats it out. They even sell attachments now. Many of the older cameras are still great though. But the camera on my.phone is.awful but iPhones are amazing

Thank you! Yes, it was with my iPhone. I think it takes decent photos when you are outdoors and don't have any harsh midday lighting, but man forget about any type of low light! I have to stick with a real deal camera for that.
