I have 3 adult cats, amazing hunters and 3 kittens. The kittens are trying to mouse but so far they are not that great.
That's great! The kittens will learn to hunt eventually.

Luna is not so small as that picture any more she's quite q long spotted beauty but I love that picture I called her my baby bird in a nest after it. As a kitten she was the spitting image of a bobcat kitten and we wondered for a while. Lol she's a terror but also very sweet. She also helped me when my 15 year old cat, Cassie, was diagnosed with cancer and had to be put down, Luna was two weeks old. She'll never be Cassie of course but she helped me to realize that I was still needed and loved and she definitely has some of Cassie's inherent sweetness.
I'm sorry about Cassie. It's very sad every time you loss an animal. For me, they're a part of the family.
I have my 10 year old black cat, Kitty. I always worry about her, because she's the Queen and if I had to pick a favorite...she would be it. lol Good news is that I have a 3 year old female, Lucy, who grew up imitating Kitty. Lucy was such a PEST when she was little!! She wouldn't leave anyone alone, but luckily grew out of that attitude.

I see a lot of Kitty in Lucy. The little "Rat" (as I call her) still watches Kitty and does certain things just like Kitty does. It's pretty amusing watching them interact with each other sometimes.

A sunny January day on the farm. The black copper Marans were let out to roam today. And with the very mild winter, flowers are still blooming.
