What kind of cattle do you all have?

Or why are you on the farmer /rancher thread? So..... Fields of corn? Apple orchard? Twelve thousand chickens?


I grew up with a family ranch in Texas (lovely heat down there) but my baby sister has it now. My ancestors had just scrub cattle, but my grandfather had Herefords, just the way he liked them. White face, with brown eyeliner so they wouldn't get cancer eye. My sister has the cattle(cow calf) and then chickens, geese, ducks, milking goats for the house, and riding horses.

I have just a little place up here in Alaska... I am trying to rent out my pasture, I just got rid of my horses this last February... So now all I have are chickens.
