Anybody tried FARMSTEAD "Flex" Feeder Combo?
Thoughts?
I am new & searching for first feeder for 6 hens.
$47+-. Kind of pricey with shipping.

$47? Hmm, I'd rather buy a regular plastic feeder, 2 30-cent bricks to sit it on, and just put it under some cover so rain isn't an issue.

We made the diy "5 gallon bucket with pvc elbow feeder". To keep them from perching on it, I put a giant funnel on the bucket lid. The elbows keep waste to a minimum.

Funnel great idea. Bucket with elbows is feeder I keep coming back too.

How high should bottom of pvc elbows be from bottom of the bucket when using Pellet type feed?

I try and go .75”

you can always make a little low, and saw off some pvc if not happy with how it’soperating.
