Just one question, what do you do with all the eggs you get?

Emmm...nothing!! I leave them in the nests!!! When I leave the eggs in the nests the hens go broody much more!!! Now that I have just received my incubators...I collect the good eggs for 9incuabtion and leave the bad ones for the broodies!!

Nope...my mom doesn't wanna eat fertile eggs for some reason>>>> she thinks she is gonna eat some nasty stuff...but I told her it isn't like that...anyway!! She gets from our neighbour who doesn't have roo's!!

Love the story. Its kind of like this with me, except of being an adult. LOL. Good Luck with all the chickens. I love all mine. Talk about spoiled chickens. My husband and daughter call them the Zombie chickens because how they all come towards you like zombies. LOL.
Anyhow, keep up the great work.

You have lots of chickens for sure. If I lived in the country I would probably be the same way. I have 13 hens and 1 rooster that I have to rehome due to no rooster laws. I have more then I should have and need to thin out my flock. There's not much going on in the egg department. The most I have had in one day is 9 and that doesn't happen very often. Winter would be a good time to thin out. Mine are eating me out of house and home. Good luck with yours! How do you keep up with so many?
