Why do they not have food and water over night?

Gorgeous little one!

Yes I am aware it's common practice to feed them 24/7, but I believe in nature they don't feed at night, so it should be OK. So far so good. They don't look thin or malnourished in any way. Their oil glands are even already functioning at 11 days old.

I was told that they needed food and water 24/7. Can I take it away at bedtime? What breed is yours? So freaking cute

Theyd love it but here it gets about -5 on average and down to -15

I think a wet coop would be too cold
