Why? Because of all of the bonds between a man and a woman, none runs deeper emotionally than that between a father and his daughter!

Speaking as a daughter of the most wonderful man that every lived (my father of course!) I can tell you, it's the most special bond in the world. Your daughters are so very lucky to have you as their daddy!

Pick the song that touches you the most. That alone will make it special to your daughter as well. Good luck narrowing it down to just one though! There are a lot of really good ones out there!

And when the time comes, remember that we all want to see pictures from the happy day!

chickinlickin - My fiance and I are getting married 2 weeks from today on Labor Day. I'm pretty even keel but the thought of looking at my fiance, telling him a love him in front of everyone, and exchanging our wedding vows has got me in a dither. I'm going to be a mess, too. In fact, I bought waterproof mascara for the occasion.

There seems to be a theme here...country music...and not too many "traditional" songs...that's ok, just noting it....

Right now I think I like Gary Allen's "Tough little boys" ..and Steven Curtis Chapin's "Cinderella"....mainly because they're a little lesser known than some of the rest....and I still like Tony Bennett's "The way you look tonight"...I remember watching "father of the bride" with both of my girls when they were little and hearing that song...knda cheesy though...

All of them are good though.....

Any more??
