Good news, sorry she has to have surgery but better now than later when she is older and the lipoma is bigger and more invasive.
Bummer on the need for surgery but glad they remain benign. Hope the surgery goes well- and please let us know!

Yea, my 11 year old is a lumpy puppy too. It's not uncommon and the surgery is usually pretty non invasive. If it weren't for the aspect of trying to keep a dog still and calm for a longer time period they'd just do it with a local (that's how they'd do it on a person, I've seen people have smaller lumps removed under those conditions). So not serious and I hope it goes well!
