We have the sweetest salmon favorelle. Today I noticed she has two different colored eyes! How cool is that? Are they supposed to have different colored eyes?

Question - how much does everyone's hens weigh? Ours are around 4.5 pounds and I can't get them above that, although everything I read online says they should weigh around 6ish pounds. Maybe they're just on the smaller/leaner side? They have open access to food and they free range, so maybe they get a lot of exercise

II have one Salmon Faverolles chick named Peanut and I love it so far! It is an amazing, curious and funny chick!

And a sad update: Peanut passed on the 8'th of April 2022. RIP baby

I have 4 SF picked them out of straight run. Thank goodness they're all pullets! I'm a new chicken mama.

Awe.. I'm so sorry for your loss.
I too have SF, I picked four chicks out of a straight run. Luckily all my research lol paid off & I picked all pullets.
