Unless you're in a place you just can't have boys it is perfectly fine to fall for the guys they're extremely docile.
I have had many, many boys and the only issue with them is sometimes they'll get a little confused and over amourus when they hit puberty so they'll try to mate with everything feet, garden sculptures, box turtles etc.
I have never had an agressive one, ever.
My boys are just as affectionate as my girls towards people.
This is one breed where you can totally and completely fall in love if you want to.:love
So cute! It’s so nice when you know they’re female and you don’t have to guard your heart from falling for the boys! ❤️

I had a lovely SF hen named Goldie. We bought her as a Golden Comet. She certainly was a Favorelle. You can see her in my profile picture. One of the sweetest hens ever. Unfortunately we had a fox attack that picked her up when she was a couple of months old.

After that I bought four more SFs. All turned out to be roosters. Two died (one was eaten by a hawk, the other got sick). Still have the other two, Zloty and Cappachina. Yes, like Cappachino but feminine. Thought he was a hen at first. C has wicked spurs and his comb fell off due to frostbite. Currently working on a better coop. Zloty is at the bottom of the Rooster Order and is my baby.

Aww! @Dragon Slayer Trinket
It is so nice to hear somebody besides myself call a giant chicken with freaking daggers on his legs a baby.
You've made my day.:)
These are my two, Prince is my brood rooster and Jerry is a mix of whatever freaky rooster my neighbor had and Faverolles.
Jerry isn't very pretty, his comb is malformed and he walks like he has to poop all the time but he is just such a nice dude I ended up keeping him.
Prince's father Trevor lost his comb to frostbite too, didn't bother him or the ladies.
I on the other hand felt horrible.

That is Oprah, she is a mix of dominique and Faverolles.
Those two breeds make a sex linked chicken you can tell from hatch what sex they are if you have a good eye and you know for sure when the feathers come in because boys are barred like the dominique where hens will be black with that white pencilled neck.

She’s one gorgeous bird!

Would it work with a BR too?
