I decided to hatch some Faverolles (even thought I said I wouldn't incubate) because I love the breed so much. Ordered 5 eggs. Picking them up today (or later this week)

So my Chickies are 2 weeks Monday. Any thoughts on sexing them? Both boys? One has a mess on its back/top wing feathers. Not sure if it got caught trying to go in/out the wire dog crate or what. Just matted up down that was a little tinted. I couldn't find a wound though.

My original bet was the shorter feathers was a male but they are much lighter than I expected. Still "his" feathers are way behind the other chick's feathers.

Really? I'm having the best dumb luck at straight run chicks I guess!!! That would be awesome news.

Of course I would be the person to buy 20 chicks expecting some to be cockerels and some to die and end up with 20 pullets...
