Its only about half an hour or forty five minuets away I will be there the whole time. I have my own car so its pretty easy to get there and back home. They are already entered I did that over a month ago and washed them earlier this week. Its getting closer and I am really excited about it. I am getting the columbian wyndotte and the polish hens. Its should be fun!

Henry

are you still getting a couple of bantam black brahmas at that show?

No beacause he couldn't make it and I have two many eggs going into the bator. I am getting the two hens and I will have at least 36 eggs in the incubators and only 6 will be faverolles.

Hope your hatch goes well have you received your eggs yet.

not yet. i think i'll have them by the end of this week. just hope the weather stays nice up here and the mail lady doesn't leave them somewhere i'll have to go searching for them.

I need to take some pics because I have a dark girl, she looks almost like a white laced black, LOL. And I also have a few pullets with freckles. I can't wait to find out what they grow into , I love the variation.

Take some pictures I would love to see them! I found good homes for both pairs of LF and all of my bantam fav chicks that I cannot keep. That means I have room for all of these chicks that are going to be hatching in the next month or two.

Everyone Peter's site is back up and running and looking good I spent all last night reading the new articles. Everyone should check it out.

They do look like faverolles mixes defently not pure but the beard on the roo says faverolles cross to me. The hen not having a beard makes me think she doesn't have as much fav as I believe the beard gene is dominant. They are some pretty EE's.

Actually, I have a Silkie X EE roo who looks like that -- and a couple of pullets who are pretty similar. EE's often have beards, too. Pretty birds, though.

These chicks are 2.5 weeks old. I really like the coloring on them:

The black one with all the feathers had feathered out like the girls-right away. The 2 known boys are still really slow, just starting to get body feathers. So, what's your guess on the sex of that black/white one?
