Thanks!!!

As an unrelated topic, I have a friend with a 16yo kid thats looking for good quality silver sebright bantams. If anyone has any or knows someone who will ship eggs please PM me!! Thanks in advance!!

Silver Seabrights? They are hard to come by! There was one I do remember seeing on the poultry news a few years back but can not remember the gentleman's name. I believe he lives out in the East Coast.

Thanks Ewesheep!!

This pic was too cute not to share. I was getting ready to bathe my orps for the fair and had a little more help than I needed!! He had fun though!!

Well the wife and I got got a pair of Bantam Faverolles, we hope to start showing Faverolles next year along with the R.I. Reds.
So let us know what you think of them? I know the cockerel isn't the best but I hope that the hen will help improve his offspring.

Thanks Peter and Leisha!! He is a mess!! Loves the water!

Peter - isnt it amazing how useful a couple of old totes can be?? Love them!

Leisha, the babies are doing great also! Annslee goes out each day with me and hold them so they are calming very nicely as well. She's still debating on what to name them. The older boy is definitely Sammie. Not sure about the other two. She's calls them all hers and is doing real good with them. Thanks again!!

Chris - my opinion counts for absolutely nothing cuz I'm just getting into this breed and am fairly new to chickens period, but the hen is pretty and the roo/cockerel looks like he has a personality. How old are they? Has the boy molted for the first time?

Can I ask, who you got our birds from?

My wife picked them up last night at a Livestock auction she works at. I believe the lady that brought in the cockerel was from around Berton Ohio (she also has Cochin) The Hen I have no idea about but she was at the same Livestock action.

If you don't mind why do you ask...

Hi all. So after some time away and a few chickens later, I am back on the forum here. I have for sure decided that I would like to concentrate my efforts to my beloved Faverolles. Does ANYONE know where I can get some? Either standard or bantam? I live in central Virginia. Thanks a bunch!
