Faverolles Thread

probably what happened.

So now I have salmon Faverolles and Buff Orphington mixes.
Some have feathered legs and 4 toes and some just have clean legs and 4 toes.

I thought this would be the best place to ask if my salmon faverolles chick looks like she is the right color? She seems a little grey compared to the pics on this thread, let me know what you all think of her. She is just my daughters pet so if she isn't the right color we don't mind, just curious!
Here is Zimby, she is 5 weeks old!

Breeder stock from the Pattersons. I will post pictures of the chicks later when I get time to take them. I have end of the month tests for my class.

She's pretty dark, and looks like she'll have black in her beard and hackles, but you won't know her "final" color for sure until her first adult moult is done. But I'm guessing she'll stay fairly dark.

Is she a salmon faverolles or a different color? She is from Ideal, I know hatchery birds aren't perfect.

She's typical of the birds I've seen from them.

My daughter loves her, even if her color isn't perfect. She is very sweet and calm. I can go into the coop and just pick her up while many of the others stand back.
