Congradulations!

I used to show dogs. Is showing poultry as political as showing dogs? Just wondering.

Yes

That stinks!

But I kinda figured that.

Debbie, I have friends who used to show dogs, and they say they got out of dogs and into chickens because, while there is politics, it's not nearly the level it is in dogs.

I have two SF that I bought from someone who got them from a hatchery.

We are not breeding, just like eggs and pretty chickens.

Well a fellow BYC'er was at my house to bring me a couple of chickens and commented on my two faverolles. Said they were good looking.

Again, I am not breeding, but I did not think you could get a good bird from a hatchery and was curious how they stood up to the standard.

They are 3 months old

They are really too young to judge against the SOP, but what I see right now is an awful lot of black in the beards, and the toe spacing is bad on the one that I can see really well. They'll be great for your layer flock though!!

You'll love them!!

I have to say i am amazed with my new little ones - so friendly and already act like they have known me all their little lives- got them home Saturday afternnon and now they are in their quarantine coop and run - but run right up to me!
