Nice didn't know who got yours. Glad they are in good hands.I sent a bunch of bantam blues, blacks and a couple whites to Andrew Hamilton and Charles Logan this past spring. LF blacks of course went to elizmartin.
How funny that we often must choose pretty anomalies over sop. And those Sebs are nice. PM me details on them please.this shows the strange lacing the mahogany roo had instead of a solid black pattern, I was unsure where to progress from here with them, since it was both attractive and incorrect.
off topic but I had to sneak them in, this is my sebbie trio![]()
quick question, a couple days ago Sammy began sneezing, i put him on tetracycline and the sneezing has cleared up, but he seems pretty tired- do faverolles respond different to meds? if so, what ou what would be a good alternative for 'colds' here is a pic of him today, he is also molting- might that be part of the lethargy?

Poultry Congress is a yearly poultry show in West Springfield, Mass. Have heard alot of nice things about this show, so we decided to go this year. How funny that we often must choose pretty anomalies over sop. And those Sebs are nice. PM me details on them please.
I still didn't hear what a poultry congress is like. It would be interesting to see who shows. I might bring another off topic bird there depending on who has what to say about it.

Thanks, maybe that is whats going on, will add some extra protien and see if that helps- his behavior reminds me of my Duccle hen, she just sits around slee[ping when moltingFrom what I've seen, molting can be hard on chickens. It can cause them to become tired, and some of mine tend to spend more time off to themselves instead of with the flock. Last year one of my pullets had a rough molt. She stayed in the nest box almost all the time, for a couple of weeks. This year I had a young hen that molted, and bless her heart, she looked awful, but she ran with the flock everywhere they went! A real trooper! This summer my French Marans roo molted. He did ok....didn't seem himself, but could've been worse.
