Faverolles Thread

I am not willing to chime in without another pic of the face please. I do think this looks like an 'off' cockerel from what I can see. I would be interested in seeing a frontal pic for sure or a nice horizontal pic.

So... I am coming to the Congress. I feel a bit like a school girl going to a concert. I spoke for a little while with a judge out of Maine and am amazed at who is going to be at this show. Will I be able to find any of you Saturday?

Just haunt the Faverolles aisles, LF and bantam. I am short, with brown hair and glasses. I'll be wearing my red Faverolles sweatshirt (although I may have a coat over it) and chicken earrings. Look for Dick's brown jacket with the fabulous Faverolles embroidery.

It's identical to the pullett in every way except coloring. Muff, beard, five toes, smaller comb, shorter tail feathers. I have been raising chickens for some time and am fairly educated, so I'm reasonably certain its a faverolles. Could it be mahogany?

I think this is a cockerel as well, but you heard that already.

easiest way is to look for Dick, we will all be near him if we can find him LOL

You assume I know him. I do not, although I think that Erik Nelson might introduce me if I ask. He's offered to be my guide for a bit. Peacock ear rings and a tall dark haired, but young guy with a Favorelles shirt.... lol

Alright, my humor is off I know BUT when I saw this picture below I heard the song, "I'm too Sexy" in my head.... anyone else hear it??

I'll be traveling with a dear friend who is a total back yard bird lover, but she is willing to humor me as I go through the celebrity bird section I will be a baby... wish I could be more professional but that's where its at right now.

If you can find Henry, you'll be able to find just about everyone else. He's met Dick, Sandy, Leisha, me and maybe even Mary.

Alright, well, Henry and Sandiclaws already having had their outfits planned has me feeling under prepared. Its sounding a lot like a sports arena where everyone expresses their fan status by wearing a jersey of their favorite team. I don't have anything for Favs. .... or any other breed. I do have a few feathers from pheasants and peafowl and a pearl guinea but... I am not wearing any of those. I hate to admit this right before the event but Favs aren't my only interest and while I own a lovely trio I don't know that I will be working with them. (I can hear the crowd booing and hissing now.) I have to see all I can and meet a few people. I will be with Marans and Ams, probably Barred Plymouth Rocks since I will be with Erik part of the time, and if I can find anyone to talk Orloffs then I will be chatting them up too. And of course I have to see the crested birds and the meaty ones and any games that are there. I am dying to see LF Games. Can you imagine the size of a cage for one of those?? (Did I just lose my Fav Friends jersey?)

Just make a shirt in what ever color with your screen name on it.
