Large fowl. I have some 13 week olds I hatched from a local breeder, but I was thinking about getting some unrelated bloodlines at some point in the future.

Where in Maine are you?

LadyCluck I bought eggs from PiperOmar on here and the eggs came through beautifully!! My chicks are 3 wks old now. Not sure when you are looking to buy eggs but i can post pics of them as they mature if you are interested?

Lady Cluck 77, the chick (only 1) drowned by falling into a pan of water. There was a pugnacious hen in the coop and it is suspected she had something to do with what happened. I've never lost a chick to drowning before, and hopefully not again.

Are they blue? I had blue legs pop up in some bantam white Favs. The males all had white legs and all the pullets had blue.

most of the ones with blue legs were pullets but I noticed a cockerel with blue legs. I'm not sure if I can breed it out, i really like this bunch they are almost perfect except for the legs. I'm thinking about hatching more eggs from the white legged birds and limit the use of the blue ones. I still need them for genetic diversity.

It can be bred out eventually. Don't use the cockerel with the blue legs, he will just pass it on to all his daughters.

My rosters tail is kind of droopy... It's that normal?

Do You suppose that somewhere someone thought to breed Favcauna's??? it seemed to be the rage many months ago…..

What did it look like prior to its droopyness? Favs. are more lateral than upright with their tails. Also its been hot in my part of the world and even with lots of water everyone is drooping wings & tails.
