i can't wait to see what the SF cross chicks will look like if any hatch!

One of my favorite yard chickens is from an egg sent to me by a BYC friend - Charlie is a Salmon Favorelle mix - and has a wonderful disposition! He loves to be held, and I have to shoo him off and the others off the steps, as you can see....but Charlie want in the house!

His beauty and disposition, and previously having Dexter and Sammy (Bantam Rooster and LF Hen lost to skunks) are my only experience with the breed, but they are by far one of my favorites! I look forward to having them in my flock again some day.

wow tfpets!

i'm in love with his blue coloring and fluff!

what would you say he is crossed with? he looks like he has a silkie's tuft and comb but i could be wrong! and i can just barely see his feet between the fluffy feet. did he also get his 5 toes on each foot?

(i know that excessive foot feathering is not a breed standard but i love it on them!)

Ok I might be able to do a set of six this week I am going to do $12 a half dozen. The ladies are going wild with this sun and I am going to get some more eggs today. Imagine 3 little fav hens battling over one nest box

they are to sweet to confront each other and they just keep switching places.
