I think the cooles thing is that when I look at my little bantam flock I can actually see German and English type in them. Some of the hens are longer then others and some are round little birds. Also some of my hens have the feathers that are turned back on their necks like the germans have its really cool.

I just realized that one of my EE X Silkie cockerels is the same color as a Salmon Faverolle roo -- and a couple of the pullets are colored similarly to the SF hens. If it wasn't for the Silkie crests, they could pass for small SF's!

Has anyone bought birds or eggs from McCallum's flock?
My 4 girls do look like favs, but one has dark mottling, & one has a rounded rump. I've posted them to sell and will start over with new eggs in a few months.
Maybe I'm being overly optimistic expecting every bird to look perfect?

hey guys just so you know I ran out of space in my bator and no one signed up for any eggs so I am auctioning off 6 eggs from my favs on this thread there is only an hour left and its looks like it might be the best way to get a deal I won't be giving that big a deal again!
