This is the one I looked up and found. I think I might be looking at the expensive models. The regular Eco 20 (not the EX models) I just looked and found is actually on sale right now, 99.99 ! That's a waaay better deal!

That's the deal I got it was not $140 but more like $120 because of shipping. I set 10 eggs for lockdown and got 9 chicks! I have around 24 lf and bantam faverolles eggs in there now. They were pretty beat up with a lot of broken air cells. Hopefully they are good I will candle on Monday and Tuesday next week.

We have 2-3 feet and its still coming down. We are supposed to have the record snow fall for maryland today! Let's see if I can even get out to the coop. How is everyone else?

i'm actually a little sad after 2 more chicks hatched out of the eggs from Chloe this week. i had 2 other hens in with her and one or both of them grabbed 2 of the hatching chicks and killed them. one of the little chicks was showing all the signs of a faverolles! 5 toes, chick color, beard and muff!

i took one girl and put her back to the coop, and put a divider up between my other girl just as a precaution. Chloe still has the 1st 2 chicks with her but one likes to hide under her every time i try to snap pics. i think both are going to show cochin traits.

here's the pic from last night i was able to get with 2 fuzzy butts trying to hide under Chloe's wings.

I am so sorry to hear about Chloe's chicks. Thats always a risk with broodies the other hens seem to view the chicks as something that should be killed. Hope the other two stay safe and I hope your Favs from MCallums and I are developing well.

i'm hoping my other broody (she has 6 under her) has at last one chick hatch that is a fav mix.

my dh has officially cut me off from buying any more hatching eggs. (he didn't say much about hatching my own eggs!

)

he did say that if i bought chicks from the feed store i should go in with someone else to split the order

our feed store has the lists out already and they are going to be getting LF salmon fav pullets!

Ha ha after you have a faverolles rooster not much will stop them.​

Just realized if I sucesfully hatch eggs and complete all of the trades I am doing I will have birds from more than 10 breeders and 7 diffrent lines of bantam fraverolles. Bourlanger,alexander, hattrick, isgrig, comer, macallums flock, and british imports I just found out about!

After a few breeding I will pretty much have my own line ha ha I am excited!
