Very nice Henry. Almost makes me wish for bantam Favs again. It was a trio of the tiny ones that first made me fall in love with the breed. I bought them at a swap and brought them home. They were the sweetest chickens I have ever owned and sold me on the Favs for all time. I am still evaluating some of the other birds I have but I can honestly say if I could only have one the Fav would be it. Dependable in the extream, a wonderful sight to see, great as a meat bird, I love them, truly!
I am so very glad that you started this thread and that there has been such participation from so many. What fun!
I have had: Black Copper Marans, Blue Marans, Cuckoo Marans, Delewares, Easter Eggers, Leghorns, a silkie, Wyndottes, Wellsummers, and True Ameraucana. Of all of these breeds Faverolles have been my favorites by far. I am so happy that I have both Bantam and LF can't wait to get some big girls and boys out in the coop again. I truly believe faverolles are the ideal chickens. I am glad that I have the opertunity to have them they are just so amazing! I am glad that I started this thread it has been better then I expected.
