We had never met before Friday... but if you are a Willoughby from Marthas Vineyard you are a first or second cousin to me... small world huh.

Over here we have salmon, blue salmon, blue laced, buff, black, white, burgundy, ermine, cuckoo and birchen do you guys have all these colors? or any that we don't have?. There are some very dedicated breeders here putting a lot of time and effort into perfecting the existing colors, creating new ones and promoting Faverolles. Hopefully soon I'll have enough coops to had some Blue salmon, buff and blue laced to my flock.

I really just planned to work on Salmon LF, but these are so tempting. What do y'all think of those combos as foundation stock?

Just guessing here, I would think the Orp would have a good size/body type to work w/... but the java would set you back too far as far as type/temperment.

of course you could always find yourself an ostrich roo and try to create GIANT favs if the javas didn't work
