Something has made him unhappy. What has changed in the last few days? it could be the littliest thing. Is this the first he has done this? Give the poor guy a break. LOL

Ha ha ha. Don't mind Dick, he's still a little sore that a bantam rooster got the best of him several years ago.... Actually though, I would consider doing the same. In my experience, 9 times out of 10 a mean rooster has it in his genes. He'll pass off that aggressivness to his offspring, and you'll have a lot of lil ole mean roosters. Just a word of caution.

I don't agree. Maybe he is having a flash back of playing with our 90lb Old English Bulldog. Chevy like to play with them thru the cage.

What about putting peepers on him?

There's a thought. Didn't think of that one.
Dick

If he is actually aggressive it won't stop him, but if it is environmental it should stop the behavior... at the very least it will screw up his aim

I have 10 BBS chicks now. 6 blues 1 splash and 3 blacks. The blacks and some of the blues are looking good so far. I have a few I may need to cull. One with a red dot on its head and the splash has no foot feathering.

Are these the light sussex / black Faverolles splits?
If they are......PICTURES....PICTURES.....PICTURES.
Dick

Yes, and I have some pics too. Out of 14, ten are black. I also have a couple of pics of the older 5 chicks. I will post them later. I need to shut off the computer soon because a storm is headed this way.
