texasgal, goody for you and good luck with your eggs. I am really happy with my pasofinofarms pullet. In fact, I am getting ready to put some of her eggs in the incubator this weekend.

That is one blond gal LOL! She is beautiful in type and elegant as well! Even she has the white/salmon leakages, maybe her offsprings can clear that up and carry her type and elegance. i love that beard of hers!

Thanks EweSheep! I'm hoping she will supply type and Emmet can give them a little more Salmon coloring. As usual with chickens - I'll just have to wait and see.

I think Jeanine at Cloverleaf is . . . or has plans to.

Hey, are you telling on me?? haa haa, just kidding, it's not "really" a secret...I ALMOST have all the birds I need. Leisha is sending me a salmon roo in a couple weeks, cuz both my roos are blue salmons. I will be putting the fav roo over d'uccle hens, and a d'uccle roo over 2 of my fav girls from Henry, one is salmon, one is blue salmon. These are all bantams, but someone in Southern Oregon was talking about doing LF mille fleur favs, but haven't heard from her in a while, so don't know if she's made any progress, or if she is even still considering the project.

Oh dear! I hope I didn't let something "leak" that I wasn't supposed to!

I actually would love to work on that color in LF, but first I have to grow some LF Favs to work on it with! I even have two 18-week-old d'Uccle cockerels just hanging out in my grow out pens. Of course, they will probably be too old and decrepit to breed by the time I have enough hens and knowledge to attempt a color project!

buffbeauty - Thanks for the compliment. You tell Annslee good luck from me! I have oodles of respect for anyone who can get up in front of people and do things like that. Not something I am good with at all.

And good luck to you too! How many birds are you taking to the show?

Annslee said thanks to y'all.

Thanks from me too! I'm taking my 5 favs and annslee will show hers, then I have my buff orps: a roo, a hen, a cockerel, and 2 pullets and anns will show a cockerell and 2 pullets. The young orps are really a little too young but the exposure is good for them.

I just ironed my faverolles fanciers patch onto my Carhartts I use for the farm. I am applying to the CREAm program which is a student run dairy program at UVM I will post the CREAM website link in a bit. We will just say it involves getting up at 3am a few times as well as a interview and a few meetings so I am pretty busy. I find out in late october about wether I am in or not. Wish me luck I think my breeding and showing experiance as well as how comfortable I am around animals both big and small help.
