Good for you! I wanted them as well, and came in late, but I am glad you are keeping them. Now we just need to keep them going. I am AMAZED at how much harder it is to find them now then it was even two years ago. Wishing you all the best with your Fibro.

Thank you all for the kind words.

It means alot to me. Yes, fibromyalgia is a debilitating condition. I am a little happier now that I have decided to keep them. Now, to let go of most of my Nankins.....

. I am keeping a couple of pairs, even one pair that my daughter has named Ariel and Prince Eric. They are way too light to be bred, but I am hoping they might dark up more. Thank you all again! I will try to keep in touch on here.

I just saw a picture I took of some of my chickens under the tree. It is actually funny because poor Sweetie is trying to take a dirt bath and Steve comes on over and stands on her. She makes such a noise! Imagine if she could speak our language.....

Here are a few not so great pictures I took today. They never seem to want to be photographed.

Here's the roo I got from Ron Patterson, from Peter's line. Absolute sweetheart of a boy. Lets me carry him anywhere without a fuss and is fine with me messing with the hens. However his son (in the pic off to the right) is a little pirahna - bit my son's lip and bit my thumb hard enough to draw blood.

Here are the boys I hatched from Dick's eggs. Lazy louts. I couldn't get a good pic of any of them because it was siesta time.
