How did everyone do at Ohio Nationals? I am assuming you guys will be heading home today. Hope your birds all did well and there were lots of Faverolles there. Wish I could have made it need to try and make it out to the bigger shows soon even though I don't have birds.

Hey all. On our way home from Ohio. RV/RB and BV/BB went to Jackie???? ( not even gong to try her last name) with two of her hens, can't remeber how may hens there were. My hen didn't place. My cock bird and cockerell won 1st. There were 5 in the cocks and 4 in the cockerells I think. Then out of 10 pullets Leisha won 1st with one of hers and my 2 won 3rd and 4th. Not sure whT everyone else placed. Here were also Leisha's 4? whites then about 6 or so reds that are kind of neat. Hens are colored like a dark salmon but the cockbirds are I guess like a "red salmon" red where one would be black. Different, but neat. Met great people and had a great time.

A standard salmon hen won reserve continental in JR and a cock bird won it for open. So that was pretty cool!

Henry, got the black crew picked up and MAN are they pretty. I am tickled!! Will post pics in a few days!!

We had a good time, but long. Got to see alot of old friends and my granddaughter and Kassandra's daughter had a good time. Judging was okay. Met some new people and even had some people come up and ask about birds. Wish I had more to sell, but NOT. Kassandra, I am glad you are happy with the blacks, blue and splash. I know you will keep them going. I still have 3 hens and 1 cock, but can't part with them.
Oh yeah, my granddaughter won Res. Ch. AOCCL with her new cornish pullet. She was very happy.

Glad you granddaughter did so well! Glad you had fun I bet it was a long day it always seems like shows are. Glad there are so many people interested in the breed. Its good you keeping some blacks at least more people have them now. Between Cindy, Kassandra, and Dick you should hopefully keep them going for a while!
