Curious if this means anything..both chicks that hatched ..their wings had black on them in portions..is that then boys?

And congrats on everyones new babies

I sent you a PM with a similar chick that I hatched a couple days ago. My chick has no stripes though...is a funky lavender or silver color.

Anyone had a chick born like this? I still have lavender genetics floating around in my lines and split parent birds. Would love opinions on what the color is or may be.

I'm guessing by the pattern it will be splash, but will it be a lavender or a silver? Never had one hatch like this other than my solid lavender pullets. Obviously not blue, black ect.

Lavender or silver? It's hard to say. What are the parents and do you have any blues on your place.
