Thanks, Hannah. I thought that she might have been yours but didn't want to put it down unless I was sure. Are you bringing her to the Sussex show? Not sure how far that is from Waynesboro. Where did you get your bird from?

I plan on going to the Sussex show, hopefully Roxy will be finished molting by then. Unfortunately I only have her and her brother who has a DQ cause of a comb issue. I got her from Henry which hatched eggs from pasofinofarms from here.

That will be great! If it's cold, I'll have my fav sweatshirt on - make sure to stop me. If it's warm, I'll at least have my name tag on, or someone at the show desk can point me out. You're going to coop-in the night before, right? That's what I do, even though I'm fairly close. That way I don't have to get up at the crack of dawn on Saturday. I stay at the Homewood Suites in Dover - they're excellent. Looking forward to seeing you in person! PM your address and I'll send it to the show secretary so he can send you a catalog.

This is nice to see the picture progress of the milli crosses. Interesting the males being similar with white. i also have a few LF crosses and the 3 males look very similar, same age, tried a multicolored male , unfortunately himself a cross on a Salmon hen. The 3 girls all were various shades of brown...all 6 had 5 toes, most with good upswing 5th. eliz

Here's one pen I have set up. They could use a bath after playing around in the mud. They're all from Dick's line.

I should name this poor guy Rodney, after Rodney Dangerfield. He gets NO respect from the girls. At first I introduced him into their pen and they completely ignored him. He danced, called them for treats and they conveniently found other things to do. So I put them on his turf. They ignored him for a couple of days. He tried to breed the smallest hen, couldn't quite manage it and she bonked him on the head. Things went better today so hopefully I'll have some eggs for the bator next week. He's definitely the most polite roo I've ever had when it comes to the girls.

I'm also setting up a pen for Rodney's larger brother and a couple of hens including this girl. This breeding will be a cross between Dick's line and Ron's line to see what I get.

Mac thoughtfully marked all his babies with a dark smudge between their shoulders so I could tell them apart.
Top left is an Emmet baby, top right is a pasofinofarm baby, and bottom is a Mac baby.
